I routinely include points of music theory in my work with students.

I do this so as to broaden their understanding of what exactly is at play in a piece of music.

Some years ago, I realized that it would be helpful to embody thats effort into printed material.

Out of that realization came The Young Musician’s Series.

But regardless of whether or not the student owns copies of those books, I still make a point of introducing music theory concepts into the lessons.
